In the heart of the salt marshes of Guerande, the salt workers’village of Saillé has long been the center of Guerande salt production. The Maison des Paludiers (« House of the salt workers ») has been one the main attractions of the Guerande peninsula for nearly 50 years.

To discover the secrets of Guerande salt, we offer you two options :

  • Visit of the Ecomuseum (audioguides and film screening in French, German or Spanish) – 1h
  • Visit of a Saline + film screening in French, English, German or Spanish – 1h30

In February, Marsh and October :

Open daily from 2:30 to 5:30 pm

In April and September :

Open daily from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:30 to 5:30 pm

In May, June, July and August :

Open daily from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:00 to 6:00 pm

 

Duration: 1h – Last visit one hour before closure

Prices: full price 5,50 € /reduced price* 3,80 €

* Valid for children aged 5 to 14 and for people with disabilities

from April 8th to July 7th : 3:30 pm

Guided tours in English and German (1h30) :

from July 8th to August 31th. Days and hours : to be determined.

Prices : full price  8,50 € / reduced price* 5,30 € / large family 31 € (2 adults + 2 children aged 5 to 14)
